BOWIE, Md. (May 21, 2014) — A winter tire replacement video produced by the Tire Industry Association (TIA) has earned TIA a 2013 Telly Award for Safety in the Internet/Online Program category.

Winter Tire Replacement is a consumer education video that covers guidelines for selecting and installing winter tires on passenger cars, minivans and sport-utility vehicles, the association said.

Founded in 1979, the Telly Awards are the premier awards in the regional, local and cable TV commercial and program field, according to TIA. The 2013 Telly Awards honored videos by 121 Fortune 500 companies, 272 non-profit organizations and 75 worldwide media brands out of more than 12,000 entries from all 50 states and 21 countries, it said.

TIA previously won a Telly Award in 2009 for its Earthmover Tire Service video and two more in 2009 for its Commercial Tire Service video.
