TRAVERSE CITY, Mich. (May 20, 2014) — Omni United USA has hired Mike Bicknell as vice president of dealer sales and marketing.
He most recently was vice president of brand sales for Mitas Tires North America Inc., where he helped introduce and establish the Mitas brand across the U.S. and Canada.
Before joining Mitas, Mr. Bicknell served as vice president of sales and marketing for Denman Tire Corp. There he oversaw the sales, marketing and customer service departments for the Denman brand and private brand sales. He also held roles as the director of sales and regional sales manager with Denman.
Scott Rhodes, Omni’s vice president of sales for North America, will remain the head of North American sales and marketing and will continue to oversee all its operations, in addition to handling the institutional sales accounts directly, according to the tire company.
It is the U.S. arm of Singapore-based Omni United, a manufacturer of passenger, SUV, truck, bus and farm tires marketed under the Radar, Goodride, RoadLux and Corsa brand names.
