BETHESDA, Md. (May 19, 2014) — The Auto Care Association and its Car Care Council have received a 2014 Communicator Award of Distinction and a Gold 2014 Hermes Creative Award for their “Independence Drives Us” rebranding video and “Explore an Auto Parts Store” video, respectively.
The rebranding video was released at the AAPEX show last November in Las Vegas to announce the rebranding of the
Automotive Aftermarket Industry Association (AAIA) into the Auto Care Association. The video also appeared on the association’s website. The Car Care Council’s virtual tour of an auto parts store appears on its consumer website.
The Communicator Award is sanctioned and judged by the Academy of Interactive & Visual Arts, consisting of professionals from media, communications, advertising, creative and marketing firms.
The Hermes Creative Awards is administered and judged by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals, consisting of marketing, communication, advertising, public relations, media production, Web and freelance professionals.
