AKRON — Trelleborg Wheel Systems Americas has added a 38-inch size to its TM3000 line designed for harvesting and other cyclic field operations.
The line is designed to meet the requirements of the latest generation of harvesters and combine machines, the company said. The new size is: IF800/70R38TL CFO 184A8.
“The TM3000 line has been designed according to Trelleborg’s BlueTire Technology to ensure low soil compaction, high load index and improved resistance to stubble damage and impacts,” said Emiliana Vesco, product manager, agricultural tires at Trelleborg Wheel Systems.
Trelleborg’s TM3000 line also is available in sizes IF800/65R32 and IF800/70R32 with more sizes to be added in the future, the company said.
Titan International and the United Steelworkers union have petitioned the U.S. International Trade Commission and U.S. Department of Commerce seeking relief from OTR tire imports from China, India and Sri Lanka. What’s your opinion?
|I wholeheartedly support their action – something needs to be done.||
|I think it’s a bad idea that could inevitably tie the hands of domestic tire makers.||
|I oppose any duties against tire importers—they only raise costs for distributors and make it harder to obtain inventory.||
|I’m kind of on the fence and not sure what’s right, but need more information before deciding.||
|I don’t really care whether or not relief is granted.||
