Hasumi named Nitto Tire Canada president

OSAKA, Japan (May 1, 2014) — Toyo Tire & Rubber Co. Ltd. has named Kiyohito Hasumi president of Nitto Tire Canada Inc. in addition to his duties as president of Toyo Tire Canada Inc.

He assumes duties previously covered by Keiko Brockel, who continues as president of Nitto Tire U.S.A. Inc. Mr. Hasumi has been president of Toyo Tire Canada since Jan. 1; prior to that he held positions with Toyo Tire U.S.A. Inc.

Toyo did not disclose reasons for the change.
