Carroll Tire names John Kairys executive VP, GM

PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. (April 25, 2014) — Carroll Tire Co., a subsidiary of TBC Corp., has named former Cooper Tire & Rubber Co. executive John Kairys its executive vice president and general manager.

Mr. Kairys joins Carroll Tire after 15 years with Cooper Tire, where he oversaw the development of key accounts and the execution of overall company growth in various roles, the most recent being director, key account sales.

Prior to working for Cooper Tire, Mr. Kairys held management and leadership positions with Pirelli Tire North America, as well as NAPA Auto Parts, where he served for 11 years in roles such as fleet services specialist, sales manager and general manager, Carroll Tire said.

“As TBC continues to grow, I am excited to welcome John into this role,” said Erik Olsen, president and CEO of TBC Corp. “His vast knowledge and experience in the tire and parts distribution industries along with his strong leadership skills will help guide Carroll to its next level of success and growth.”
