BUFFALO, N.Y. (April 25, 2014) — Dunn Tire L.L.C. has named its Chief Financial Officer David Simons to the additional role of executive vice president.
The Buffalo-based tire retailer said Mr. Simons will report directly to Randy Clark, president and chairman of the board.
Mr. Simons joined Dunn Tire as corporate controller in 1993 and has served as its chief financial officer since 1999. Previously, he was a CPA with the Buffalo office of Ernst & Young for 12 years.
Mr. Simons is a member of the Dunn Tire board of directors and is immediate past chairman of the Sisters Hospital Foundation board. He has also served on the boards of American Car Care Centers and the New York Choice Self Insurance Trust.
Mr. Simons has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from St. Bonaventure University in Bonaventure, N.Y. and an associate’s degree in accounting from Alfred State College in Alfred, N.Y. He is a native of Wellsville, N.Y., and resides in Orchard Park, N.Y.
