DETROIT (April 7, 2014) — You might say General Motors Co. CEO Mary Barra wasn’t quite ready for prime time.

Lawmakers in Congress showed the embattled chief executive little mercy for during last week’s Congressional hearings. And neither did the comedy writers at “Saturday Night Live” for the show’s April 5 opening skit.
