AKRON (March 26, 2014) — Balkrishna Industries Ltd. (BKT) has selected Red Moon Marketing as its “experiential agency” of record.
The agency will manage and coordinate all promotional activities related to BKT’s role as exclusive tire manufacturer of Feld Motor Sports Inc.’s Monster Jam series of “monster truck” competitions, BKT said.
BKT Tires recently was named the series’ official tire and BKT’s producer, Balkrishna Industries Ltd., was named the exclusive tire sponsor of Monster Jam through 2018.
The company said it expects to engage about 4 million spectators at the nearly 350 Monster Jams shows held each year around the world.
Red Moon Marketing has more than 12 years’ experience in the marketing, communication and organization of major events for global brands such as Coca-Cola and Jack Daniel’s, according to BKT. The primary objective of the synergy between the two companies is to guarantee a widespread and constant presence on site during Monster Jam events as well as timely and effective organization, the tire company said.
The marketing firm will serve as the central point of coordination between Feld Motor Sports, promoter of Monster Jam, and BKT—handling all initiatives connected to the Monster Jam competitions, from managing public relations to organizing the events and sponsorship activities outside the arenas, according to BKT.
