MERRIMACK, N.H. (March 14, 2014) — ASA Automotive Systems Inc. has developed an interface for Yokohama Tire Corp.’s Advantage Designated Distributors that is designed to help meet the tire maker’s new sales data reporting requirements.
Yokohama said the ASA Yokohama Interface provides distributors with a streamlined process to automatically load sales data daily by part number, validating proof of qualified purchases by Yokohama Advantage Associate Dealers, in compliance with the recently re-launched Yokohama Advantage online site.
The website dashboard gives associate dealers access to their performance progress, tier-level projections, reward history, co-op claims and other special features. Medley, Fla.-based Deal Tire Group was one of the first sites to implement the interface.
“Once Yokohama approves the customer, we set them up in our ASA system, and all Yokohama purchases are automatically sent to Yokohama,” said Jeff Martino, general manager at Deal Tire.
“I get an acknowledgement message from Yokohama confirming whether it processed correctly or not. The fact that it’s automatic and seamless, I don’t have to be pushing buttons to make it work, is a big time saver. The fact that I no longer have to manually produce reports every month and every quarter for Yokohama is another time saver. Plus it prevents errors. I’m really happy with what ASA did for us.”
