MONROE, Mich. (Feb. 27, 2014) — Tenneco Inc.'s DynoMax Performance Exhaust brand has launched the Mobile Sound Lab iPad app, which is designed to allow consumers shopping for a performance muffler to experience each DynoMax muffler's distinct sound.
Available for download at the iTunes App Store, the app lets users compare sound tones for each DynoMax muffler, including the drone-free DynoMax VT; Ultra Flo Welded; Ultra Flo Welded X; Ultra Flo Welded round; Ultra Flo SS polished; Super Turbo; Race Bullet; and Race Mini Bullet mufflers.
In addition, the app showcases the sounds of the company's popular Thrush-brand muffler line, including the Thrush Mad Hot, Hush Thrush, Turbo, Welded and Glasspack mufflers, Tenneco said.
"Performance enthusiasts ultimately want to know how the muffler is going to sound, and the DynoMax Mobile Sound Lab provides a true muffler sound experience that's easily accessible on any iPad," said Chris Gauss, Tenneco's sales and marketing manager for performance brands.
Titan International and the United Steelworkers union have petitioned the U.S. International Trade Commission and U.S. Department of Commerce seeking relief from OTR tire imports from China, India and Sri Lanka. What’s your opinion?
|I wholeheartedly support their action – something needs to be done.||
|I think it’s a bad idea that could inevitably tie the hands of domestic tire makers.||
|I oppose any duties against tire importers—they only raise costs for distributors and make it harder to obtain inventory.||
|I’m kind of on the fence and not sure what’s right, but need more information before deciding.||
|I don’t really care whether or not relief is granted.||
