Power Stop hires VP of special markets

BEDFORD PARK, Ill. (Jan. 30, 2014) — Performance braking systems supplier Power Stop L.L.C. has hired Mark Pritt as vice president of special markets.

Mr. Pritt comes to Bedford Park-based Power Stop from ATP Inc., where he most recently was executive vice president.

In his primary role, Power Stop said Mr. Pritt will use his strategic business insight and strong personal relationships developed to help lead the company's expansion plans for the traditional market segment in the U.S. as well as neighboring countries.

"Mark brings energy, ideas and an outstanding reputation for integrity and hard work to our business. We are thrilled to have him join our team," says Arvin Scott, CEO of Power Stop.

"I had the pleasure to spend time with Mark at this year's AAPEX show and have seen firsthand the exceptionally strong friendships Mark has developed. I also experienced his insightful and bright ideas to further enhance our customer relationships and new business opportunities."

Mr. Pritt is president of the Automotive Sales Council and has been active in many aftermarket councils and causes. He lives in Bartlett, Ill.
