BALTIMORE (Jan. 28, 2014) — China’s Aeolus Tyre Co. Ltd. has hired industry veteran David Terwilliger to be its Western Division sales manager, tasked with helping develop the Aeolus consumer tire brand throughout the western U.S.
Most recently regional sales manager for Falken Tire Corp., Mr. Terwilliger will be based in northern California.
“Mr. Terwilliger will be responsible for developing new passenger and light truck tire market share in the western division of the United States for the rapidly growing Aeolus brand consumer tire products division,” said Mike Leverington, Aeolus’ general manager for the U.S.
Mr. Terwilliger also spent 15 years as owner of Fast Fit Tire Centers, a multi-retail store business in northern California.
“We look forward to Mr. Terwilliger’s contribution as we grow distribution of Aeolus Tires here in the U.S. and continue to develop our global value leadership position,” Mr. Leverington said.
Recognized in the Americas primarily for its truck and OTR tires, Aeolus broadened its scope into the consumer tire arena in the past couple of years and begun selling Aeolus-brand passenger and light truck tires in the U.S. last year.
