TSI/SSG names Pollem intl. sales rep

Heiko “Hike” Pollem

PHOENIX (Jan. 24, 2014) — Tire Service Equipment Mfg. Co. Inc./SAF-TEE Siping & Grooving Inc. (TSI/SSG) has appointed Heiko "Hike" Pollem as international sales representative, effective Jan. 2.

Mr. Pollem, who replaces the recently retired Arvid Vaaten, has worked in the automotive aftermarket and related fields for 40-plus years, starting with automotive legend Carroll Shelby in the 1960s.

TSI/SSG said all international sales correspondence should be directed to Mr. Pollem by email at hike@tsissg.com or by phone at 619-647-3889.

Based in Phoenix, TSI/SSG manufactures and markets automotive wheel service equipment along with disposal and recycling equipment. The company operates a manufacturing plant in Monticello, Minn.

Titan International and the United Steelworkers union have petitioned the U.S. International Trade Commission and U.S. Department of Commerce seeking relief from OTR tire imports from China, India and Sri Lanka. What’s your opinion?
