ATP taps Dobie as VP

ELK GROVE VILLAGE, Ill. (Jan. 21, 2014) — Aftermarket auto parts marketer ATP Inc. has hired Tim Dobie as vice president of special markets.

Mr. Dobie previously was director of sales for the Affinia retail group after holding executive sales posts with UCI-Fram, Maremont and Arvin-Meritor.

In his new post, he will oversee several market channels, focusing on the management of the existing customer base and the development of new business, according to ATP, which markets automatic transmission filter kits, repair kits, exhaust manifold kits, harmonic balancers, cables, filters and chemicals.
