TCS launches coupon, store finder apps for Facebook

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. (Jan. 20, 2014) — TCS Technologies has added the TCS Coupons App and TCS Store Finder App to its portfolio of Facebook apps.

Dealers now can display manufacturer promotions, store offers and marketing messages automatically both on their website and Facebook pages using the TCS Coupon App.

In addition, multi-location dealers with store finders on their TCS websites can now mirror the experience on their Facebook page via the new TCS Store Finder App.

“Facebook is now almost ubiquitous among tire dealers, and most of the U.S. online population have a Facebook account, so it’s not surprising that our clients are asking us to develop Facebook applications for them,” said Barry Reese, TCS president. “With the addition of these two new Facebook apps, Facebook users can now have a website experience that is native to the Facebook environment.”

Titan International and the United Steelworkers union have petitioned the U.S. International Trade Commission and U.S. Department of Commerce seeking relief from OTR tire imports from China, India and Sri Lanka. What’s your opinion?

I wholeheartedly support their action – something needs to be done.

I think it’s a bad idea that could inevitably tie the hands of domestic tire makers.

I oppose any duties against tire importers—they only raise costs for distributors and make it harder to obtain inventory.

I’m kind of on the fence and not sure what’s right, but need more information before deciding.

I don’t really care whether or not relief is granted.
