Tech Intl. hires VP of corporate development

JOHNSTOWN, Ohio (Jan. 17, 2014) — Tech International has appointed Barry Gant as vice president of corporate development.

Tech International said Mr. Gant will use his 17 years of experience in corporate finance and expertise in mergers and acquisitions to lead the company's global growth strategy in this newly developed position.

"Barry's background in financial analysis and risk management will be essential as we pursue new ventures and opportunities for growth," said Dan Layne, president of Tech International.

Mr. Gant previously was chief financial officer for Carolina Energy Solutions and vice president for Royal Bank of Canada's Investment Banking Group, Tech International said.
