BETHESDA, Md. (Jan. 15, 2014) — The University of the Aftermarket Foundation has elected Rusty Bishop, CEO of Federated Auto Parts. as its chairman for 2014.
Also elected to the board are: Jack Creamer and Kathleen Schmatz, president and CEO of the Automotive Aftermarket Industry Association, as vice chairmen; John R. Washbish, Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance Inc., secretary; and Tim Lee, Lang Distributing Inc., treasurer.
The 2014 board of trustees also includes: Bill Babcox; Jeff Brekke; Jim Buzzard; Michael Cardone III; Carolyn Cook; Jeff Darby; Bob Egan; Cliff Hovis; Scott Howat; Bill Long; Bill Maggs; David O’Reilly; John Passante; Larry Pavey; Joe Pomaranski; Ed Rammel; Mort Schwartz; David Segal; Eric Sills; and Jon Zieve.
The University of the Aftermarket Foundation provides scholarships, grants, research and ongoing educational programs for the automotive aftermarket.
