YORK, Pa. (Jan. 8, 2014) — Mahle RTI will exhibit at the MACS (Mobile Air Conditioning Society) 2014 Training Event and Trade Show, Jan. 16-18, in New Orleans.
Mahle is a silver sponsor of the convention’s keynote lunch and closest-to-the-pin contest for the golf tournament.
In addition, Keith Korchma, eastern region sales director for Mahle RTI, will provide a technical update on the A/C market for technicians on Jan. 17. Mr. Korchma will highlight the vehicle models supported by the company’s machines and any recommended maintenance. At its booth, Mahle RTI said it will display its latest offering—a RHS1280 machine that handles the new R-1234yf automotive refrigerant.
Mahle also will give away an ArticPRO RHS980H machine to one contest winner as part of the MACS 2014 Show giveaways.
Titan International and the United Steelworkers union have petitioned the U.S. International Trade Commission and U.S. Department of Commerce seeking relief from OTR tire imports from China, India and Sri Lanka. What’s your opinion?
|I wholeheartedly support their action – something needs to be done.||
|I think it’s a bad idea that could inevitably tie the hands of domestic tire makers.||
|I oppose any duties against tire importers—they only raise costs for distributors and make it harder to obtain inventory.||
|I’m kind of on the fence and not sure what’s right, but need more information before deciding.||
|I don’t really care whether or not relief is granted.||
