TAIPEI, Taiwan (Dec. 12, 2013) — For the 11th straight year, brand consultancy firm Interbrand has named Cheng Shin Rubber Ind. Co. Ltd. one of Taiwan’s top 20 global brands.

Cheng Shin, which does business as Maxxis International Inc., is one of eight companies listed that saw double-digit growth in brand value in 2012. Interbrand assessed the value of the Maxxis brand at $370 million—12 percent more than last year’s estimate. The company moved up one spot to eighth place from its ranking on Interbrand’s 2012 list.

The list was compiled by Interbrand and publishing company Business Next at the request of Taiwan’s Ministry of Economic Affairs.
