ALLENTOWN, Pa. (Sept. 25, 2013) — Paul MacHenry & Co. has chosen MAM Software Inc.'s Autopart business management software for three facilities in the Northeastern U.S.
MAM said Paul MacHenry will utilize the software to streamline processes, improve efficiency and enhance customer service. The software coordinates, organizes and integrates everything from quote preparation and stock management to accounting and database management, according to MAM.
"We knew it was time to upgrade our software system if we were going to continue to grow as a company," said Skip MacHenry, vice president of Paul MacHenry, in a MAM press release.
"We felt that if we had the right tools, we could be more effective performing the day-to-day tasks. We looked at several different software packages and chose MAM Software."
Paul MacHenry will use Autopart to manage all its core business processes, MAM said, including product and price management, sales order processing, warehouse management, accounting, ecommerce and business analysis.
The system runs on Microsoft SQL, Mr. MacHenry said, which will benefit the company because it easily allows access to the data in and out of the system.
"As a Ford authorized distributor and Ford's northeast regional accessory distributor, we like that the system is flexible enough to handle our special requirements, now and in the future," he continued.
