LAS VEGAS (Sept. 12, 2013) — Two sponsoring bodies of the Automotive Aftermarket Products Expo will hold a seminar Nov. 6-7 at the Sands Expo Center for automotive service instructors, titled "Inside AAPEX for Automotive Instructors."
Sponsored by the Automotive Aftermarket Industry Association's (AAIA) Education Committee and the National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation (NATEF), the event will teach automotive instructors about new technology, the groups said, as well as award NATEF credit hours.
Topics include: Direct Injection Update; Wallet Flushing; New Exhaust Technologies, Including the New Clean Diesel; Wiring Diagram Color Coding: A tool for Understanding Electrical Circuits; and TPMS Smart Maintenance and Repair."
The groups did not identify speakers at this time.
The seminar also will give attendees an opportunity to meet with manufacturer product managers and trainers, the associations said.
The NATEF has approved all the sessions for one hour of continuing education credit, the organizers said.
Also, attendees will have access to the AAPEX show floor to see the latest products and talk to manufacturers' representatives, the NATEF and AAIA said.
